Germany: DSK publishes minutes from May conference

On July 15, 2024, the German Data Protection Conference (DSK) published minutes from the 107th conference of the independent federal and state data protection supervisory authorities, held on May 14 and 15, 2024.

During the meeting, the DSK discussed several items, including:

  • the report from the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force;
  • the procedure for complaints under the EU-US Data Protection Framework (DPF) in the area of national security, in particular, the need for a uniform procedure and the publication of the translated documents by the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI);
  • approval of the code of conduct of the Association of Credit Reporting Agencies; and
  • assembly of a small group to discuss the use of Microsoft Corporation's MS 365 and MS Teams, in particular regarding employee data protection.
