The President of Finland approved, on 20 December 2022, the Act on the protection of persons reporting violations of European Union and national law ('the Whistleblower Protection Act'), following its approval by the Parliament. In particular, the President confirmed in a decision, on the same day, that the Whistleblower Protection Act will enter into force on 1 January 2023.
