Ecuador: DINARDAP concludes meeting on final revision of data protection draft law

The National Directorate of the Public Data Registry ('DINARDAP') announced, on 23 May 2019, that it had concluded a meeting on its final revision of the Draft Law for the Protection of Personal Data ('the Draft Law'). In particular, DINARDAP outlined its aim to deliver the Draft Law to the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Information Society ('MINTEL'), as well as to the Sectoral Council and the Legal Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic in order for the Draft Law to be presented to the National Assembly for consideration.
