Bulgaria: CPDP publishes July newsletter
On July 17, 2024, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) published its May 2024 newsletter, covering the period from May to July 2024. The newsletter includes:
- an outline of events and initiatives of the CPDP, including collaborative work on the creation of a digital brochure on data protection in an online environment and participation in the first meeting on the project 'OPWHI - Open the Whistle: Protecting Whistleblowers Through Transparency, Cooperation and Open Government Strategies';
- information on supervisory activities of the CPDP, such as 54 inspections, 98 queries, and nine orders in connection with violated data protection provisions; and
- decisions and opinions issued by the CPDP.
