The North Dakota House of Representatives ('the House') passed, on 19 February 2019, the bill for An Act to Provide For a Legislative Management Study of Consumer Personal Data Disclosures (HB 1485) ('the Bill'). In particular, the Bill provides that the legislative management shall study protections, enforcements, and remedies regarding the disclosure of consumers' personal data, as well as review the privacy laws of other states and applicable federal law during the 2019-2020 interim. Furthermore, the legislative management shall report its findings and recommendations to the 67th Legislative Assembly.
