Dominica: Government issues bill addressing financing of terrorism

The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica ('the Government') issued, on 22 June 2018, a bill for the Anti-Terrorism Act 2018 ('the Bill') for review, which addresses the financing of terrorism. In particular, Section 40(2) of the Bill requires every financial institution or scheduled business to keep and retain records relating to financial activities for seven years, and to develop and implement a written compliance programme.
