Shanghai: Municipal Government announces the launch of Lingang New Area Data Cross-border Service Center
On April 8, 2024, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government announced on its website that a Lingang New Area Data Cross-border Service Center, the country's first data cross-border service center, was launched jointly with the cybersecurity and informatization departments.
Shanghai Municipal Government outlined that the Lingang Service Center will provide data processors with a legal, safe, and convenient cross-border data flow mechanism, including all-round and full-process services such as material acceptance and business consulting.
