Poland: UODO requests public comments on revision of guides
On May 21, 2024, the Polish data protection authority (UODO) announced that it was aiming to revise its guides to be more understandable and responsive to contemporary issues and, therefore, sought public comments on two guides. The UODO guides for public consultation are:
- the guide on data processing in employment (2018); and
- the guide on responding to personal data breaches (2019).
The UODO noted that the collected comments will be published on the UODO website after the consultation and then taken into account when designing changes to the guides. In addition, comments are to be sent via email to [email protected] for the first guide and to [email protected] for the second until June 21, 2024.
