Luxembourg: Chamber of Deputies adopts whistleblowing draft law

The Chamber of Deputies adopted, on 2 May 2023, Draft Law 7945 Transposing the Directive on the Protection of Persons who Report Breaches of Union Law (Directive (EU) 2019/1937) ('the Whistleblowing Directive') into Luxembourg law, following its introduction by the Minister of Justice in January 2022. In particular, the draft law will be passed to the Conseil d'État ('the Council of State') for a second vote, following which it will enter into force on the fourth day after its promulgation and publication in the Official Gazette.

You can read the draft law here and track its progress here, both only available in French.
