International: CoE announces Mauritius signs and ratifies Convention 108+

The Council of Europe ('CoE') announced, on 4 September 2020, that the ambassador of Mauritius in France had signed and ratified the Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with Regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data ('Convention 108+'), and consequently deposited the instrument of ratification. In particular, the CoE highlighted that Mauritius becomes the sixth State party to ratify Convention 108+.
